Make room for yourself.

Boundaries, self-worth, and self-trust are the foundation of healthy relationships and emotional well-being. We offer a warm, collaborative approach to help you understand yourself more deeply, strengthen your confidence, and create lasting, meaningful change.

A small practice for individuals — in person or by video. Culturally responsive, inclusive, and grounded in real care.

01

How Calma talks.

Like someone slightly older who has been through it, not a brochure. We write the way our therapists speak in the room — plainly, warmly, without performance. We don't use the word “journey.”

Warm.

First person, contractions, generous. We address one person at a time.

Slow.

Short sentences. Room to breathe. We never rush you into anything.

Specific.

Concrete details over abstractions. "Wednesdays at 6pm," not "flexible scheduling."

Culturally responsive.

We honour your background, identity, and lived experience. Therapy should feel like it was made for you.

Therapy that sees you.

We believe therapy should honour who you are — your culture, your identity, your history. Our practice is built around the idea that healing looks different for everyone, and that's a good thing.

Culturally responsive

We centre your cultural background, identity, and lived experience in every session. Your story matters — all of it.

Inclusive practice

Affirming care for all identities, including LGBTQ2S+, BIPOC, and newcomers. Therapy that sees you as a whole person.

Diverse team

Our therapists bring varied backgrounds, languages, and perspectives. We'll match you with someone who genuinely understands.

Trauma-informed

Every interaction is grounded in safety, choice, and collaboration. We go at your pace, always.

04

How it works.

We removed every barrier we could think of. No waitlists, no confusing intake process, no “we'll get back to you.”

01

Tell us what's going on

Two minutes. A short form, not a medical history. We just need to know enough to match you well.

02

Meet your therapist

A first session is just a conversation. No homework, no intake binder — just two people talking.

03

Build a plan together

You decide what to work on and how fast to go. Your therapist brings the tools. You bring yourself.

04

Show up, regularly

Weekly or biweekly, in person or by video. The kind of thing you put in your calendar and actually keep.

05

What we help with.

These are the most common things people bring to us. If yours isn't here, it probably still fits — just ask.
